Prices – Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a dentist referral?
Yes. All scans must be clinically justified under IRMER regulations. Patients may enquire directly, but a dentist must provide justification. Your dentist can find referral information on our For Dentists page.
Is the radiology report included?
The report is optional and charged at £250. Many routine cases do not require it unless the dentist requests one. Reports are often recommended for implant planning or complex pathology.
Are there any hidden fees?
No — the prices above are fixed. There are no extra charges for digital delivery or repeated downloads. If anything additional is required, this will be agreed with the referring dentist in advance.
How quickly will my files be sent?
Most scans are delivered on the same day. Complex cases may take up to 24 hours. Files are sent securely to your dentist for review and planning.
Can dentists request specific fields of view?
Yes. We offer small, medium and full-arch imaging depending on the clinical question. This includes focussed scans for endodontics and wider fields for implant and wisdom tooth cases.
