Use our secure digital referral form to send patient details, clinical notes and any previous radiographs.
2. Patient appointment
Patients attend our imaging centre in Great Barr. Our trained team ensures accurate positioning and efficient scanning.
3. Scan delivery
DICOM datasets and images are delivered securely. Viewer software can be included upon request.
4. Optional reporting
A structured radiology report can be arranged, detailing findings and aiding planning.
Scans Available for Your Patients
We provide CBCT scans (including small field-of-view endodontic CBCT) and OPG panoramic X-rays. Our CBCT service covers implant planning and surgical assessment, but also supports dental CT scan requirements such as wider anatomical review, full-arch implant cases and pathology assessment — with clear DICOM datasets, JPEG previews and optional radiology reporting.
CBCT Scans (Dental CT Imaging)
High-quality dental CT / CBCT imaging for implants, surgical planning, complex extractions and assessment of nerve and sinus proximity. We provide optimised fields of view (small to large), clear DICOM datasets compatible with most planning software, and optional radiology reporting.
OPG / Panoramic X-rays
Useful for general assessment, orthodontic planning, wisdom teeth and periodontal evaluation. A simple, fast panoramic dental X-ray option where a 3D dental CT scan is not required.
Endodontic CBCT Scans (Small FOV Dental CT)
Close-up, high-resolution endo CBCT scans (small field-of-view dental CT imaging) to visualise root canal anatomy in 3D. Helpful for locating hidden canals, complex molar morphology, suspected fractures, retreatment planning and periapical pathology assessment. Delivered as DICOM datasets with easy-to-review image slices.

How quickly will I receive the scan?
Most scans are delivered the same or next working day. Reporting, if requested, may take slightly longer.
Can I request a specific field of view?
Yes — we tailor the scan to your clinical question. Small, medium and large fields of view are available.
Do you provide dose information for my IRMER records?
Yes. Exposure parameters and dose details can be shared to help maintain your radiation documentation.
Can patients self-refer?
Patients may enquire directly, but imaging must be justified. We will always involve their dentist to ensure IRMER compliance.
Do you accept digital referrals?
Yes — our online referral form is the quickest method and allows secure upload of notes and previous images.
